What’s the best foundation primer for acne skin?

I love makeup, but because of my acne, and normal/oily skin, it’s hard to keep my foundation on. My friends and been telling me that I should use a primer on my face, because it helps keep it on. But there’s many out there, and I really need one that wont clog my pores, or cause me to break out even more. I would also like to keep the price under 20 dollars.
Any suggestions?

the reason i know is because i’ve been there, still there, but the best thing that i have found is to wash your face, obviously but rinse with COOL water, it CLOSES YOUR PORES!!! (TRUE) THEN use a light lotion or moisturizer so that you don’t get those awful dry skin flakes, THEN use a light to medium in thickness foundation, like a roll on kind or the newer stick ones with an applicator spongy tip that the make up comes out when you turn it, it’s awesome and works great, but make sure the first layer you put on for your "primer" is at least 1-2 shades LIGHTER than your skin and main foundation, just dot on over your worst spots and areas., LET IT DRY…………THEN go over it with the color of your face evenly and you should get a pretty good result!! good luck!! OH, DONT USE JUNK!!! if it’s 99 cents, DONT BUY IT, i would suggest cover girl or maybelline truthfully, that’s what i use!! (read on each one and get the one that matches what your skin is, oily, dry, etc)

Try the new clinique acne solutions liquid makeup for your acne. (25 dollars)
or if you would like to keep your old kind try getting neutrogena powder for (acne/oily skin) and apply over your foundation to help set it and keep it in place. you can also reapply throughout the day to stay looking matter and not oily. its about 13 dollats.

I would suggest going to Sephora they have a non greasy one I use because I have the exact same problem. You also want to get a eyeshadow primer to help with the creases caused by oil.

  5. I had less skin problems when I went to Bare Essentials mineral makeup. I’ve since switched to the Serious Skin Care mineral makeup (it’s cheaper and you get more). The cheap brands in the drug stores are full of talc and don’t cover well.
